Friends,
Happy New Year!! I’ve been with you for six months now which, for me anyway, has flown by. I continue to work at remembering more and more names and relish the opportunities to share a meal or meet one on one. Even still, I know it will take time to become fully integrated into the St. Mark’s family. Thank you for your patience.
As we begin our new Sunday morning Mass Schedule, here are some things to be aware of:
The Rosary will be prayed before the 8am Mass, beginning about 7:30am.
Dr. Johnson will lead music for both Sunday morning Masses. The 8am Mass will feature the pipe organ and the 10am will feature the piano and guitar.
Tina and Nell Grove will provide Music a couple of times a month on Saturdays while the other Saturdays will be without music.
Generally speaking, Deacon Terry will assist at the 8am Mass and Deacon tom will assist at the 11am Mass. They will alternate assisting at the Saturday vigil Mass.
Beginning this month, one weekend a month will feature one of our deacons preaching. The deacons will alternate month to month.
I will be away on vacation from January 7th to the 18th. Fr. Heinz and other priests will cover Masses and Confessions in my absence.
