Becoming Catholic

RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, is designed to aid individuals (Candidates) seeking spiritual development and instruction in their faith journey to join the Roman Catholic Church. Candidates are joined by fellow St. Mark parishioners (Team Members) as a means to provide support to the candidates while representing the parish community.

Classes are conducted in conjunction with other local parishes to enhance group discussion which follow the weekly presentations given by engaging, local speakers. Annual RCIA classes begin in September and conclude with the Easter Vigil where the candidates are welcomed into full communion to the Church. For more information call the parish office or Jim Heatwole at 224-4365.
